Terms & Conditions
The important stuff about shopping with House of Pins.
Last updated: 10th August 2026
These terms apply to every order you place with us through www.houseofpins.co.uk. Please read them before you order. By placing an order you agree to them. We may change these terms, and the version that applies to your order is the version published when you placed it.
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the version in force when you place your order.
1. About us
This website is operated by House of Pins, a sole trader business owned and operated by [YOUR NAME] (“we”, “us”, “our”).

2. About these Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of our website and to any orders you place with us.
By placing an order through our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the version in effect when you place your order.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your legal rights as a consumer.
3. Our products
We sell a range of products including pins, stickers, dice and other fantasy, gaming and illustrated products.
We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, photographs and colours shown on our website are accurate. However, colours can appear slightly different depending on your screen, device or display settings.
Some of our products are produced in small batches or may be handmade. Minor variations between individual products may therefore occur.
Any measurements provided are approximate unless specifically stated otherwise.
4. Prices
All prices are shown in pounds sterling (£). All prices include VAT at the applicable rate.
We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. However, any price change will not affect an order that we have already accepted.
Any applicable delivery charges will be clearly displayed before you complete your purchase.
5. Placing an order
When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the products in your order.
After placing your order, you will receive an email confirming that we have received it. This does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted.
Your order is accepted and a contract between you and us is formed when we send you confirmation that your order has been accepted or when we dispatch the products, whichever occurs first.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where, for example:
- a product is unavailable;
- there has been an obvious error in the price or product description;
- we are unable to fulfil the order; or
- we reasonably suspect fraudulent or unlawful activity.
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will provide a full refund.
6. Payment
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout.
Payment is normally taken when you place your order.
Payment details are processed by our payment provider. We do not have access to or store your card payment details.
7. Delivery
We will provide information about available delivery options and estimated delivery times during the checkout process.
We aim to dispatch orders within the timeframe stated on our website or in your order confirmation.
Delivery times are estimates and may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our control.
Where tracking is available, we will provide tracking information after your order has been dispatched.
If your order does not arrive within the expected timeframe, please contact us and we will investigate the matter.
Risk in the products remains with us until the products are delivered to you or to a person you have nominated to receive them.
We will not consider an order delivered simply because a courier has marked it as delivered if the goods have not actually been received by you or someone you nominated to receive them.
8. Your right to cancel
If you are buying as a consumer, you generally have the right to cancel an online order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason.
If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us.
You then generally have a further 14 days to return the goods to us.
You are responsible for taking reasonable care of the products while they are in your possession.
Some products may be excluded from the cancellation right where permitted by law, including certain personalised or bespoke products.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory cancellation rights.
9. Returns
If you cancel an order under your legal cancellation rights, we will refund you in accordance with applicable consumer law.
Unless the goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect or otherwise not as described, you may be responsible for the cost of returning unwanted goods where we have informed you of this before purchase.
Returned products should be in an appropriate condition and, where reasonably possible, in their original packaging.
We may make a deduction from your refund where the value of the goods has been reduced by handling beyond what would reasonably be necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functionality.
10. Refunds
Where you are entitled to a refund, we will normally refund you using the same payment method that you used for your original purchase.
We will process refunds within the timeframe required by applicable law.
Where an order is cancelled before dispatch, we will normally issue the refund as soon as reasonably possible.
11. Faulty, damaged or incorrect products
If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or contains the wrong product, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
Please provide your order number and, where appropriate, photographs of the problem so that we can investigate it.
If a product is faulty or otherwise does not meet your legal rights, we will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable consumer law.
Depending on the circumstances, this may include a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.
You do not lose your legal rights simply because a particular returns period has expired.
12. Pre-orders
Where a product is available for pre-order, the expected dispatch date will be displayed on the relevant product page.
Pre-order dates are estimates and may occasionally change due to circumstances outside our reasonable control.
If there is a significant delay, we will contact you where appropriate.
If you no longer wish to proceed with a pre-order, please contact us and we will deal with your request in accordance with your legal rights.

These may include severe weather, natural disasters, strikes, transport disruption, postal or courier failures, internet or technology failures, or other events beyond our reasonable control.
Where possible, we will keep you informed and take reasonable steps to minimise any resulting disruption.
17. Our liability
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable at the time you entered into the contract with us.
18. Privacy
We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it and how we protect it.
